What would you do if you were brave?

When God looks at you, God sees the full potential you have. Not just the full human potential you have, which is enormous all by itself. No, far beyond that, God sees what you are capable of when you follow God's Spirit and are empowered by God.

You may not feel like you can do all the things God has called you to do. Heal the sick? Raise the dead? Cast out demons? Cleanse lepers? Proclaim that God's kingdom is near? That may not seem possible. But with God, nothing is impossible. God can help you fulfill your best potential.

Perhaps like you, Gideon started out doubting that he was capable of what God had in mind for him.

In Judges 6, we find Gideon hiding from invading marauders in a winepress, trying to keep the grain he was threshing from being stolen. An angel came and announced to Gideon what God saw in him: that he was a mighty warrior.

Gideon didn't feel like one. He felt more like a nobody. Plus, he had heard stories about miracles God had done through others in the past, and he was wondering why nobody was doing such great things in his day.
