It's important to recognize Jesus.

Acts 13:27-31 (NRSV) says "Because the residents of Jerusalem and their leaders did not recognize [Jesus] or understand the words of the prophets that are read every sabbath, they fulfilled those words by condemning him."

God, help us to see what you are doing and act in keeping with your will Thank you! Amen.
