Jesus does not condemn you
Your life would be better without sin. No doubt about it. But when you sin, Jesus does not condemn you. Jesus came to set you free.
In John 8:3-11, people confronted Jesus with a woman who had been caught in adultery, at that time an offense punishable by death. Jesus told the accusers they could start her execution if they were without sin themselves.
After all had left, Jesus told the woman he did not condemn her either, and encouraged her to "Go and sin no more."
You can be certain that when Jesus sees your sin, he will show you the same compassion he showed the woman.
God, thank you that Jesus accepts us in spite of our sin and encourages us to "Go and sin no more." Help us to show others the same mercy that you show us. Thank you. Amen.
