Charlie talks about La Jolla Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of downtown San Diego.	Charlie: I took a couple of summers to read the Bible. I certainly didn't expect anything to happen. I was moved to finally acknowledge that Jesus had given his life for me. My life has never been the same since. Jesus is the Lord of the universe, but he's right here and he wants to hold you, he wants to carry you if you need carrying. He wants to hold your hand and walk with you, if you need that. He's a friend.
Leslie talks about La Jolla Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of downtown San Diego.	Leslie: I like the high liturgical service. It surprised me that it was so appealing to someone that hadn't had much experience with church, but I like that. I love the music here. I love the people. It really is a family. For everyone who's just moved to La Jolla, my advice would be to find a home church. It make take a little confidence to do that, but it is well worth it.
Pam talks about La Jolla Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of downtown San Diego.	Pam: I came to La Jolla Lutheran Church because I was looking for a Lutheran church. I really was impressed by the friendliness and was impressed by the depth of the sermon from the pastor. The thing I like best about La Jolla Lutheran is the family atmosphere, the loving atmosphere that's here, and the depth of the true belief in Jesus that the people have here.
Sue talks about La Jolla Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of downtown San Diego.	Sue: One of my favorite things about the church is the people. I'm grateful for God's grace in my life and the fact that He's there for me whenever I need Him. And even when I don't need Him.
Carol talks about La Jolla Lutheran Church, 14 miles north of downtown San Diego.	Carol: I've been coming to La Jolla Lutheran since I was baptized here over 30 years ago. I come here because I enjoy the fellowship, the family that I have made here within this church, along with my DNA family. How it brings me closer to Jesus is just that it reminds me, every Sunday, whenever I think about church, I think about my relationship with Him and that He is a loving and kind God.
